Kailey Smith is a native of Davis, California who is currently residing in Washington, DC. Kailey received both her B.A. in International Relations and Economics and her M.A. in Pan African Studies from Syracuse University. Her M.A. thesis, Legacies of Empire: Museums, Neocolonialism and Repatriationexplores the relationship between museums and their display of African culture and heritage.
