Malik Owens

Malik Owens serves as the administrative assistant of BlackPast.org. Since joining the organization in 2021, he has honed skills in web development, technical proficiency, problem-solving, community engagement, and social media development. Being the son of Black Panther Party member Garry Owens, Malik is passionate about Black history and is committed to continuous learning and growth with BlackPast.org. Malik was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
